This is my favourite restaurant for comfort food. Excellent food, inspired mainly by Japanese influences. Plenty of fresh ingredients and a very casual atmosphere. Perfect for a lazy sunday afternoon lunch. It does get very busy and "trendy" on Friday and Saturday night especially at the Emporium.
A small quirk is that when you order and entre and a main, the main could come out first, which is downright weird! Mostly if you mention to the waitperson that you want your entres first they work some magic and your entres come out first.
Wagamama's has a loyalty card called the "Frequent Noodler" card. You can ask for it at the counter. You basically get 1 point for every dollar you spend. For each 100 points you get one main meal free. It specially good to take the Frequent Noodler card with you when you go out with a group of friends as you get that 100 points pretty quick.
